The 2026 WhichBingo Awards, the UK’s largest and longest-running player-voted awards for online bingo, slots and casino, drew a record turnout of nearly 500,000 votes across 12 main categories.
That is almost double the 265,000 votes cast in 2025 and the highest in the awards’ 13-year history. The ceremony took place on Wednesday 13 May aboard the Sunborn yacht hotel in Gibraltar.
PR Coverage and backlink numbers were up by almost 50%, rising from 375 in 2025, to more than 530 in 2026. This included a lot more local press than previous years showcasing the nominees and winners.
The 2026 edition introduced several firsts: An in-house voting tool replaced third-party platforms, giving players a smoother experience and driving the record turnout.
Five pre-show categories were added for the first time, covering everything from Best Bingo Caller to Best Party Bingo Event, and £2,500 in prize draws rewarded voters across two rounds.
Since launching in 2014, the WhichBingo Awards have grown into the definitive measure of player satisfaction in the UK online bingo and casino industry, with past winners including tombola, Paddy Power, Mecca Bingo and bet365.
Winners for 2026 were announced across 21 categories spanning player-voted, editors’ choice and five new pre-show categories celebrating the real-life side of bingo.
