From a Chapel Hill Startup to the Intelligence Layer of Sports, Gaming and Entertainment
Grandstand (Nasdaq: GRSD) marks 20 years in business this year, capping two decades of growth from a small startup founded in Chapel Hill, North Carolina as a gambling affiliate, into a Nasdaq-listed company serving consumers and partners across more than 20 markets.
The milestone lands the week after the company’s rebrand from Gambling.com Group to Grandstand, giving the anniversary an extra layer of meaning as the company enters its next chapter under a new name.
Over the past two decades, that founding moment has grown into a diversified intelligence platform spanning consumer brands, sports data, audience monetization, land-based ticketing and fintech. See the accompanying graphic for Grandstand’s twenty-year timeline.

Today, Grandstand is built and run by more than 350 people across 30+ nationalities. The company operates globally, with major offices in Charlotte, Dublin, Malta and Las Vegas. Over the past eight years, Grandstand has won more than 24 major industry awards, including EGR Global Affiliate of the Year three times, the only company in the award’s history to do so.
